I love this shot. It’s weird how big they look on the ground, the pilots make them seem so small with the way they throw them around in the air. Love the glistening bodywork too, shows you how well those planes are cared for.
I’m a fan of the Arrows, I’m hoping to catch them at some point this year. It’s a shame those guys have had such a horrible twelve months.
Did you catch the Windsor flypast the best I have seen recent times, yes it really was a horrid 12 months shows you how dangerous game it is. They are small in comparison to the F18 the US use which is almost twice the size but i think it is their agility which makes them a great show. Typhoon would be a great formation ac as it can turn on a sixpence but it wont happen due to cost.
oooh, love this Scott..nice&shiny,brilliant colour, lines, and ..crop ??.Could say something cheeky but won,t..Great pict !

What a great photo from a great blog well worth a visit in my humble opinion … love it
I’m mainly interested in landscape and seascape. Living here in Cornwall there are plenty of opportunities for that kind of photography. That said, I very much enjoyed photographing Truro Cathedral recently. I’m still processing the images.
I studied at Stirling University as an undergraduate and a post-graduate but sadly never made it as far north as Lossiemouth. I’m looking forward to seeing many more of your images from that part of Scotland.
well thanks struggling to follow you back as I select follow it seems to disconnect, you will see the majority of my work is landscape, seascape & skyscape, I use the reader to keep tabs on others post.
Superb! Like the perspective with the receding tailplanes
Fantastic, classic shot. But I have to ask… how did you get there?
I am Warrant Officer Ops at RAF Lossiemouth
although this was when I was the Airfield Manager at RAF Leuchars
Cool, I forgot you were with the RAF.
