Just noticed the little piece of pollen on the petal to the left….
now I wonder Carolyn if a macro lens would have picked up the pollen detail?

Lovely shot. I love the detail on the wings.
yes I was amazed that detail had been picked up shows how good the standard lens is – considering it is a zoom (compromise straight away) – interestingly I was playing with a VR lens last night quiet amazing what an improvement that makes especially in low light conditions.
