The Royal Palace of Caserta is a former royal residence in southern Italy, constructed for the Bourbon kings of Naples. It was the largest palace and one of the largest buildings erected in Europe during the 18th century. In 1997, the Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, described in its nomination as “the swan song of the spectacular art of the Baroque.

Yes your right, I thought you were referring to a photographic theme
Yes I used to like the contrasting colour backgrounds generated by Duotone but now opt for larger images, but those lack archive and tag access – it is all a compromise, I think a bespoke setup is next but time is limited with my primary job, unless this becomes my job versus hobby and that can’t happen for another 2 years.
It works, so all is good… and good to know I’m not going gaga….
Bring on the next 2 years when you’ll probably find yourself even more busy than you are now….!

Blushing and embarrassed – I haven’t effectively responded to you last nomination – but don’t be concerned by my empty words (I promise I will get my act together) I do tend to take more picture at this time of year leaving less admin on the blog.
