Castle Stalker ā in the Gaelic, Stalcaire, meaning Hunter or Falconer ā is believed originally to have been the site of a Fortalice (a small fortified building) belonging to the MacDougalls when they were Lords of Lorn, and built around 1320.
I attained my 200th follower today – thanks every one

Excellent image!
posted this in my early blogging days to no acclaim – so it’s getting another airing. It was a bad weather day so tried to find anew approach to an old standard
I remember seen it before on your blog..Not a very common view you get the see o the castle and took me some time to get used to
well it managed a mere 2 likes in 18 months but doing better this time around. Always seeking a different perspective.
I’m a bit of an oddball at times, but I just don’t “get” monochrome. My eyeballs want color.
well if you had seen the weather on the day you wouldn’t have wanted colour so this was best of a bad bunch but I was pleased I tried a different approach to the standard Castle Stalker
Very nice, I love the foreground grass, and congratulations on hitting the 200!
Yes the 200 was a long time coming but have really streamlined my approach now Facebook and G+ have gone so it is WordPress for my base – Twitter to market and Sales (with Instagram for fun and Stats)
Bad weather may have helped make this an even more interesting image than it might have been without the movement of the grass Scott.
Great photo, Congrats on the 200th.
Lovely composition.
