you know with just a touch of light this could have been spectacular – deserved a tripod but couldn’t
You also know not to wish for the imposible, but am sure you will get it like that one day..

Phil, thanks if I told you it was at 1/4 of a sec F16 handheld against a bridge (as I was being chased by the local workmen) would you believe me?
Amazing! Because if I had to guess I would have said you spent half a day waiting for everything to be right, and also used a sturdy tripod and took a ton of images to get this one.

it was another right time right place – watching for anything that catches your attention as you drive, spotted this parked up and used the bridge to steady a slow shutter speed- idyllic though

Yes I think you are right about the Scottishness, I think I have been up north for too long to fully appreciate these type of scenes and must take a more extended trip south soon.
