Another cool one that can be categorized as abstract art. How come I can’t click to enlarge or zoom in on your shot?
cause it’s big enough on my 32inch TV lol
A bit on the tiny side on my 13″ MacBook….. (what’s TV?
-just joking!)
Too inpatient to wait for a link to this…… but yes, ’tis pretty much like my “Renewal -challenge” shot. I’m wondering if yours was taken closer to sunset to give you gold rather than silver. I’m also wondering if this image didn’t inspire mine somewhere in the recesses of my brain.
I’m glad you broke the rules.
yep you are right in my Spam filter
Stunning image! Very well done! Looks like you have a few gulls flying there.
I have bird images – which I think you would like – only have a 200 lens but right time right place – Cormorants and Gulls mainly http://skm1963.wordpress.com/2012/06/18/jonathan-livingston-seagull/
Love the Cormorant sunning/drying himself on the rock… and there are 3 people standing to the left. Just in front of them Scott, is what appears to be an ‘eddy’ or whirlpool, and yet I don’t think it could be water, or if it is, I doubt that is would be deep enough to create an eddy. Perhaps it’s just a reflection, or sand has been washed out of that area making it appear reflective… The more I look at it the more uncertain I’m becoming. Perhaps you may like to ‘enlighten’ me…
In any case, it’s wonderful, and intriguing..!
I think it is just a blown area (excessive reflection) where the wet reflective beach has pinged itself (tech term lol) in to my lens ha ha
Well, whatever it is; I love it…!
Rules were made to be broken, and it really paid off.
It’s wonderful the way you shoot beaches Scott, you’re a master.
Ego completely inflated
