A lovely montage of Glasgow using the Clyde Arc Bridge to Frame the Armadillo and Finneston Crane – this was my first night shoot using a tripod and prolonged exposure – so was a big learning curve but I have learnt lots.

  1. Great to see you stepping out o your normal fields/comfort zone..guess we all need new challenges, you have succeed very well on this one..(eventho I do have an issue on the crop ;-) )

    • I think I should say thank you, typical crop comment lol – although this time it was the limitations of my lens which dictated this shot – would have loved a 10/20mm lens on this occasion and on another few occasions recently.

  2. Wonderful – great title too!

  3. That is outstanding!

    • It’s an area which is getting photographed to death at the moment so I wandered in to a gated community and used a slightly different angle, I had just discovered changing the white balance offered properly black skys :D

  4. Colour, colour everywhere…. What a wonderful shot, and very different from your norm… I love it!

  5. Nice! I have a workshop scheduled for January where I suspect I’ll be learning about doing low light or night shots. The learning curve is a bit scary for this old brain…. ;)

  6. So gorgeous! Love the colour, composition, and title. No troubles with that water!
