These are small snapshots of my most successful Instagram Images – I thought it might be interesting to share, couple of points to note – it is mainly my landscape work but not exclusively which is popular, wildlife on the whole struggles and people crash n burn – moody coastal scenes work every time but then I understand that. Anyway if you want to follow me on Instagram or Twitter just search @skm1963 – I find it fun and relaxing

I LOVE you Instagrams…but I am already one of your biggest fans
my goodness your on a wander around the blog
Well, I felt I had been missing out!
I especially love the one that looks very much like the Quiraing. Love that place!
Aye it is Quiaing – be my first like then
A feast for the eyes…(and there are no calories to worry about)
In fact you burn them through scanning – mouse movement and adding to your bucket list based upon what you are viewing – so in fact photography is working your metabolism maybe
I saw this on twitter and I retweeted it
well done
ta
What? no slideshow with the thumbnails. Very disappointing.
sigh….. I find much of the social networking stuff to be too much of a time suck… when would I find time to blog or check out YOUR blog??? much less wander the beach? To be honest I don’t even know what an Instagram is (and probably won’t go out of my way to find out). Twitter was cool during the hurricane to keep on top of what was happening to friends back East, otherwise I rarely bother with it. Seems I must be getting to “that” age where the latest and greatest is about to pass me by…..
ha ha -you are cheekier than me – Instagram is Twitter with pictures and I can do it on the phone – you up the contrast to cope with smaller screens – it’s just a bit of harmless fun which doesn’t drain me- but I know what you mean about time – it does drain faster and faster. I find my primary job is getting more and more in the way of my photography ….
HAHA! You ARE cheeky, Gunta! Maybe that’s why I like you so much!!
You have one new twitter follower. Don’t do/understand Instagram (but then again I don’t really understand twitter!)
Ha ha excellent Adrian u will soon pick it up, I use it to market my sales. Quiet good fun met some decent people.
I’ve tried twitter, It;s not for me. Your pics are great, but I’d rather see them on the big screen.
I understand that and so would I but some people have different needs – so these mediums allow me to draw people on to my blog n sales
I’m not currently on twitter or instagram Scott but these all look super!
I regurgitate my blog posts on Instagram and use Twitter to market – at one point I was covering every aspect of social media – using a ripple effect (where one post) disseminates itself to several sources but popularity was getting out of hand and couldn’t keep up. So Blog, Twitter sales and Instagram (fun only) have survived. Photography, editing and marketing are all individual sciences as you know, way ahead of myself. Anyway – I enjoy capturing that moment so I can revisit it later and reminisce…..
Great photos. I followed you on Twitter (in case I miss out). I like landscapes a lot but wildlife more. I suspected more people like landscape which you confirmed but never really said why. What are your theories?
Lovely images! Just followed you on Twitter but I should warn you I’m a pretty inactive Twitterer!
I’m with some of your other commenters, what on earth is instagram? I keep seeing stuff about it but I haven’t found out about it yet. To be honest though, it’s as much as I can cope with being on Twitter, Facebook and blogging. Social media can take over your life! I love your photos but I’d rather keep coming to your blog, just because I’m already geared up for that. Your collection here is amazing, I only wish I could see them all full size.
Those are some gorgeous shots! Looking forward to following you on IG!
lovely selection there
greats shots! i started following you
Added you on IG (mirellamarie). Gorgeous photos!
Hey cheers looking will follow back naturally
These are like WOW! You got my ‘follow’ on twitter!
Well, I don’t follow you on Instagram, because I’m not on Instagram. But I do follow you here, and I LIKE IT!
Ha ha excellent answer – I was challenging my audience and it has worked. We all engage with things we like, we sift information – I can assure you I read lots of your blog posts some engage briefly others have more profound impact which I then discuss with others
Thank you.
