I wanted to brighten things up – I know you will be used to seeing reflections in my work – on this occasion however I have used farmland in varied state of being farmed. I like the collection of soft browns and autumn colours all being amplified by the depth of the reflection – but natural enough to display a range of surface textures – enjoy

that’s not often lol. Many thanks surprised though as your river generates lots of similar images.
Could have made the wellknown crop comment , but in this case it worked out really nice. The reflections and it’s linings in it are really leading you up those hills and no coloured skies to distract the attention from the warm colours .Love the stillness o the water and the relaxed atmosphere in the picture, must have been a Sunday- so much for Speechless
This is beautiful Scott, I love seeing the fields at this time of year.
aye it was another gorgeous day – I have been blessed to be out and about this year.
Absolutely gorgeous scenic!
cheers Phil – a bit of farmland action
i had a headache, but now all i can think about is this beautiful view; where is this?
Healing properties in a photograph – excellent – this the Cromarty Firth – just across the Black Isle to the north of Inverness by 8 miles.
Wonderful, Scott…and those shore-side buildings provide so much for the perspective/scope of things. And yes, what a beautifully colored reflection…the mirror of the earth….
I love your expression the mirror of the earth – I do spend my time seeking reflections to amplify the scene.
I’m glad you enjoy the expression, seemed appropriate. I shall have two posts in a few days about White Pine Lake…the second one is specifically for the reflections that I captured. I hope you’ll enjoy them, as well….
Stunning colours! And I love the reflection the most.
You are spot on it was the colour – that grabbed me at first
