I’m a little late for your end of the world, but I’ll wish you a Happy New Year anyway. Here, we’re just approaching it and I’m already hearing guns and fire crackers though there’s still nearly four hours to go. At least we made it past the Mayan calendar.

Hey Gunta – many thanks the time slide across the world is a great leveller, the Aussies are always in there first – The fact is time is calculated from Edinburgh, London and Dublin using GMT – Happy New Year – I hope 2013 is just as creative as last year

Sadly I have yet to acquire a taste for whisky, single malts or otherwise! But Colin enjoyed a wee dram of Caol Ila – one of his favourites.
