  1. Glorious! I’m longing for it too, as the snow continues to fall on the 8 inches already lying outside…

  2. I really like this photo – the white stands in such beautiful contrast to the water which disappears into the sky.

    • Interesting Lyle I was a little frustrated by the sky myself – I was attracted to the small golf green framed by the very powerful yellow gorse – in full bloom it is a formidable sight

  3. Outstanding scenic Scott!
After a few days of winter we should be back to Spring weather here next week. :D

  4. I’ve stayed at the lighthouse (many years ago)!

  5. We have a golf course at Bandon that has the gorse, too. No matter how hard they try to eradicate it. ;)

  6. So do I long for spring, Scott – and I can almost smell it, in your pic! Just look at those glorious blues. How long can it be??!!

    • not soon enough – I just need some light either side of work and I will be much happier. The yellow of the gorse s what really draws me here and the scale of the small golf green amongst the sea of yellow.

  7. Stunning and brilliant. The blues are so calming!
